Socks and Soles get a Snow Day Outing! Watch my Bare Feet Leave Spread Toe Footprints… Brrr!
When I woke up to see the white stuff had fallen and the ground was coated in thick, powdery, soft snow I couldn’t wait to get out for a walk! Heading across the local park I spotted a patch still fresh, where no one else had trodden yet. I sat on a nearby bench – not even thinking about the melting ice immediately soaking through the denim as I sat my ass down – I wanted to put my bare feet in the virgin snow! My black ankle boots had kept the snowy moisture out, but my feet had gotten pretty hot and sweaty on my walk, so I plunged my geeky character socks into the snow toe first to cool down my stinking dogs. Now to strip out of my wrinkled down knee length socks sitting over my skinny jeans, pulling off the sopping fabric from first my left foot, then my right. A little squeal and “cold, cold, cold!” escapes my mouth as my sweating little feet walk into the snow, leaving melting, toe spread footprints of each little piggy for all to see. I wonder what the dog walkers thought when they saw my size six (UK shoe size four!) bare foot prints walking through the snow!
